This workshop, over 4 days, is to allow aspiring writers learn new ways to make their writing better through exposure of selected Text Types, Creative Writing activities and games.

Our location is just a 3-min walk from either the Bukit Batok MRT station or theBukit Batok Bus Interchange. Buses that stop along the roads surrounding our location are numbers 157, 178, 66, 506, 173, 174, 176, 187, 985. Buses services which terminate at Bukit Batok Bus Interchange are 61, 77, 106, 173, 177, 189, 852, 941, 945, 947.

Tutor: Mr Musa

A graduate of University of Melbourne, Australia, Mr Musa is a former MOE teacher who has been teaching since 2004. He is also a co-founder and coach for The Orange Ladder, a local consultancy firm on Literacy matters.

 

Mr Musa holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Specialization in English and Science) and Certificate in Special Needs Support from the National Institute of Education, Singapore. He also holds a Diploma in Modern Languages from the University of Melbourne and the Julia Gabriel Teacher Training Certificate (Speech & Drama) from Julia Gabriel Centre, under the tutelage of Ms Gabriel herself.

 

During his appointment as Library Coordinator is his previous school, Mr Musa has managed to guide numerous winning student entries in CIVICA's annual ebook writing competition "Tales of S".
