PRIMARY 5 MATH RELEARN
When P4 students enter the P5 level, many of them feel that Math is tough. Some students begin to lose their confidence and believe that it is difficult to pass Mathematics. Recognizing this challenge, we have prepared a special programme to help your child relearn key content knowledge and skills at Primary 5. This programme is called the P5 Math Relearn programme and it is meant for students who have failed the P5 SA2 Math examination.
The mastery of Mathematics depends on the mastery of earlier levels of knowledge and skills. If your child is struggling with Mathematics, he must revisit the earlier topics that have been taught by the school teacher. Unless and until students master the prerequisite key concepts and skills, they stand on shaky ground. In fact, if they do not master the prerequisite knowledge and skills, they are unable to master Mathematics at P6.
The following topics will be covered in this 8-session programme.
Day 1: Whole Numbers
Day 2: Fractions 1
Day 3: Decimals 1
Day 4: Measurement
Day 5: Fractions 2
Day 6: Decimals 2
Day 7: Geometry
Day 8: Analysis
