Intertextuality in Writing
December 16, 2015

One of the topics we covered during our English Creative Writing Workshops this holiday is the idea of INTERTEXTUALITY.
Intertextuality is prevalent in our daily lives and is what makes many advertisements, movies and book interesting because you may find elements that you may not expect to find in the presentation you are viewing. Good writers are able to keep this strategy in mind and try to employ this tactic as and when it is possible.
This video is somewhat of an extreme case of Intertextuality where a story that is literally out of this world meets a traditional form of storytelling. Brilliant!
